For teens: the One Community Health clinic at Hood River Valley High School (1220 Indian Creek Rd, 541-308-8345) takes walk-ins Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, when school is in session. Teens of any age can get reproductive health care without a parent.

Appointments preferred. Walk-ins are seen, but there may be a wait, and IUDs and implants need an appointment. Teens do not need a parent's consent. Free services for those who qualify, sliding scale, Oregon Health Plan, and private insurance. You get care even if you can't pay.

Emergency contraception (Plan B)

Take it as soon as you can. It works up to 3–5 days after sex, and sooner is better.

Free from Gorge Access: we keep Plan B at our Community Outposts. Contact us to arrange a pickup.

At a clinic, same day: Klickitat County Public Health (White Salmon or Goldendale), NCPHD in The Dalles (Mon–Fri), or Hood River County Health.

Over the counter, no prescription or ID needed. Stores don't always have it in stock, so call first.
